Dealithic, Inc. ("Dealithic," "we," "our," or "us") operates the platform available at dealithic.co and related subdomains (the "Platform"). This Privacy Policy explains what personal and business information we collect, how we use it, how we protect it, and your rights with respect to that information.
By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Platform.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide Directly
- Account registration: name, email address, and password when you create an account.
- Deal submissions: company name, industry, geography, financial data, and any other deal information you enter to generate IC memos or pitch materials.
- Contact form submissions: name, email, company, and message content when you reach out through our contact form.
- Billing information: payment details processed securely by Stripe. Dealithic never stores full card numbers.
- Communications: emails or support messages you send to us.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Usage data: pages visited, features used, session duration, and in-app actions — used solely to improve the Platform.
- Device and log data: IP address, browser type, operating system, and referring URLs collected by our hosting infrastructure.
- Authentication tokens: session identifiers stored in browser local storage to keep you logged in.
2.3 Information from Third-Party Integrations
If you connect Gmail or Google OAuth, we receive your email address and, solely when you initiate a send action, access to compose and send emails on your behalf. We do not read, scan, or store the contents of your inbox.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect exclusively to:
- Create and maintain your account and provide the Platform's core functionality.
- Generate IC memos, fund-matching results, pitch materials, and other AI-powered outputs based on data you submit.
- Process payments and manage subscription billing through Stripe.
- Send transactional emails (account confirmations, password resets, deal materials you request).
- Respond to support requests and inquiries you initiate.
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents.
- Improve the Platform based on aggregated, anonymized usage patterns.
We do not use your data for advertising, behavioral profiling, or any purpose unrelated to operating and improving the Platform.
4. No Sale or Sharing of Your Data
Dealithic does not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information or deal data with third parties for any purpose, including marketing.
Your deal submissions — including company financials, projections, and investment terms — are treated as strictly confidential. They are used only to generate your requested outputs and are never disclosed to other users, investors, or outside parties.
We share information only in the following narrow circumstances:
- Service providers: We use Supabase (database hosting), Vercel (infrastructure), Stripe (payments), and Anthropic (AI model inference) solely to operate the Platform. Each is bound by data processing agreements and is not permitted to use your data for their own purposes.
- Legal compliance: If required by law, court order, or valid governmental authority, we may disclose the minimum information necessary to comply.
- Business transfer: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, user data would transfer as a business asset. You would be notified in advance.
5. Data Security
We implement industry-standard safeguards to protect your information, including:
- All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted via TLS/HTTPS.
- Databases are hosted on infrastructure with encryption at rest.
- Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel only.
- Authentication credentials are hashed and never stored in plain text.

6. Data Retention
We retain your account data and deal submissions for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data and deal submissions within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate fraud-prevention purposes.
Anonymized, aggregated usage statistics that cannot be linked to any individual may be retained indefinitely to improve the Platform.
7. Cookies and Tracking
The Platform uses minimal session-based storage (local storage and session cookies) strictly to maintain your login state. We do not use third-party advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or cross-site behavioral tracking technologies.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction: request that inaccurate or incomplete data be corrected.
- Deletion: request that your personal data and deal submissions be deleted.
- Portability: request your data in a commonly used, machine-readable format.
- Objection: object to any processing of your data that you believe is unlawful.

9. Children's Privacy
The Platform is intended for business and professional use and is not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we become aware that a minor has provided us with personal information, we will delete it promptly.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify registered users by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
